ECO-RESERVE

We are very fortunate to have an eco-reserve on our doorstep, with a lovely mountain cottage perched on a hill, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings. Here, a wealth of flora and fauna awaits the nature lover, with some flora as old as 1000 years! Keeping an eye out, you may find wild animals roaming the landscape, ranging from a herd of kudu to foxes, caracals, meerkats and tortoises. Even leopards occasionally cross the reserve at night. When dusk sets in, the cries of the animals, echoing in the distance, are a poignant reminder that you are amid unspoiled nature.
